Welcome!

Welcome to this blog! Content on this site will provide insights and creative ideas pertaining to integrated marketing communications for auto dealerships.

I look forward to exploring many channels of integrated marketing communications, including social media, traditional print and television advertising, promotions, events and sponsorships, and public relations. The objective is to provide a collection of findings, articles and thoughts that can assist with creating efficient, synergistic and coordinated marketing programs for automobile dealerships.

One of the particular areas of interest is in dealing with integration of marketing across multiple businesses within a single auto group. How does a large auto group, with multiple locations, carry a consistent message that represents the umbrella brand across multiple franchises with different managers who possess different communication styles? One can see quickly what a challenge that presents. I would like to explore how to best formulate a communication strategy that supports the overall corporate and marketing strategies so that customers in each store receive the same branded experience, and so that communication internally among managers and corporate headquarters flows easily.
